French Toast in a Mug
"This is the perfect recipe for my new college student!"
Ingredients:
I piece of bread ( I used challah and it worked great)
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons syrup
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1 Tablespoon of chocolate chips-I recommend mini if you have them
Powered sugar (optional)
Cinnamon (optional)
Mix together egg, milk, syrup, cinnamon, and salt into a microwaveable mug. Cut off the crust of the bread and cube. Submerge the bread within the egg mixture of the mug. Stir in the chocolate chips. Sprinkle the optional cinnamon sugar on top. Microwave for a total of 2 minutes stopping every 30 seconds. Let cool for about 1-2 minutes. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and enjoy!
